Founded in 2012 by Taylor Bennett — a lifelong Colorado outdoorsman — PeakTrail was built on the belief that more people deserve access to the wilderness. Over 12+ years, we've safely guided over 4,800 guests across 38 curated routes.
What started as a one-man operation with three tours in Rocky Mountain National Park has grown into one of Colorado's most trusted boutique adventure tour operators. Without a boutique operator like PeakTrail, many adventure travellers — particularly those unfamiliar with Colorado's terrain, permit systems, and altitude risks — would have limited safe and meaningful access to the state's most spectacular and demanding wilderness areas.
